Baker Tilly,
Auckland
Baker Tilly fibre to the desk project. 60 desk-top clients connect on a fibre to the desk GPON system designed by Qnet. This project has increased data speed to the jack by replacing the copper cabling with high speed fibre optics.
Through this upgrade project, Qnet has provided a future proofed system that will be able to cater to Baker Tilly’s current and future data demands.
Bay Palms Apartments,
Browns Bay
Bay Palms Apartments Browns Bay East Auckland. Qnet designed and installed a fibre optic GPON cabling system that now provides Ultra Fast Broadband services throughout this entire 67 residential apartment complex.
This project has reduced the costs for both the developer and the buildings management body corporate.
KiwiRail Bunny street Station, Wellington
Kiwirail Bunny street Wellington train station project. This network upgrade project saw Qnet overhaul the Network LAN Switch implementation over 5 floors. Qnet carried out building cabling upgrade including the installation of new structured cabling. Actioned the scoping, installation and testing of new wireless access points. Carried out the testing, certification and standards documentations.
Through Qnet’s involvement in this project KiwiRail was able to bring this project in on time and on budget.
Key Oaks Hotel
Qnet designed and installed a fibre optic GPON system into the Key Oaks Hotel in Courtnay Place, Wellington. This hotel project consisted of 10 stories and 327 guest rooms. All guest rooms are connected to a Ultra Fast Broadband network made up of fibre optic cable links which terminate behind each rooms T.V. The hotel MATV satellite services are equally delivered to each room from a roof top antenna dish via the same fibre optic cabling.
Qnet’s ability to provide both fibre optic network and satellite services in one hybridized installation process significantly reduced the project costs and installation times.
Sunset West Apartments
Qnet designed and installed a Fibre Optic GPON system into Sunset West Apartments, 251 Victoria Str, Wellington . This project had the team running fibre cabling to 6 stories and 63 individual apartment with a dedicated 1 Gbps fibre link installed in the building’s communications room.
Qnet’s fibre solution offers residence of Sunset West with greater reliability, agility and future proofing through the networks ability to support next generation smart services.
KiwiRail Woburn Station,
Lower Hutt
Qnet designed, built and implemented a new fibre optic cable runs as part of a new network layout at this KiwiRail station. Qnet installed new network switches.
New fibre optic cabling backhauls and reticulation under tracks and between building as part of this project.
Richmond Villas Petone
Richmond villas in Petone is a high-quality residential site consisting of 95 stand-alone villas described as luxury at its finest. Qnet was appointed to design and implement a dedicated and centralised fibre optic GPON communications system that would deliver high speed internet and MATV Satellite TV services over dedicated fibre optic cabling to each and every villa via the Qnet ISP Platform.
Each villa connection has been supplied with high quality Customer Premises Equipment to ensure that every home has the best quality internet service and support.
The Foundry Hobsonville
Qnet Limited was appointed by the Citadel Group to install a private high-speed fibre optic embedded network for their new flagship commercial site The Foundry based in Hobson Auckland. The Foundry site has 117 industrial units which have combined broadband, power metering and CCTV security reticulated over a Single optical network. The ability to combine the systems over a single network was advantageous during installation of the network in managing costs and streamlining the installation process.
All ICT and ISP services and support are delivered over the Qnet NZ network. The combined systems and number of dedicated connections managed through one platform means superior internet delivered at very competitive prices, and service support via the Qnet NZ ISP platform.
The Forge Hobsonville
The forge is a new commercial site in Hobsonville Auckland close to the Foundry. The site has 38 industrial units. Qnet have installed a dedicated Qnet NZ high speed fibre optic network to service all units with high speed internet, power meter monitoring and CCTV.
As with the Foundry all ICT and ISP support services are delivered over the Qnet dedicated Internet Services Platform over a dedicated high speed fibre optic link back to the Chorus Exchange. Because this link is a dedicated private fibre optic connection to the site the broadband service is fast , reliable and supported by business grade network support.
Florian Kapiti
Florian Kapiti is a collection of 65 architectural town houses new built on the Kapiti Coast. Qnet was appointed by Thames Pacific to design and commission a dedicated high speed internet service over a dedicated private fibre optic broadband network. Like all residential sites designed at this level of quality it was important that the Qnet customer premises equipment specified and supplied by Qnet was designed to be both highly effective in delivery excellent broadband WiFi signal through the home and at the same time remove clutter and enhance effective use of space within the home.
The result is a high speed reliable WiFi signal delivered to every point within the premises over dedicated point to point fibre optic connectivity over a dedicated Qnet fibre optic link to the site from the Chorus Exchange.
Two One Two Willis Street
Two One Two is a ten storey Apartment Building containing 100 residential apartments. Qnet has been appointed to supply Satellite TV and high-speed Broadband over a high-speed fibre optic GPON network that combines the two services together over a common network platform.
The combined services over a single fibre optic network reduces installation time and cabling and provides a superior internet and MATV experience. High speed unlimited internet is supplied by Qnet NZ and the Satellite Television services by other MATV services by other service providers.
Willowbank Heights Tawa
Willowbank Heights is designed around balanced and connected spaces that bring people together; making easy living a lifestyle choice. Nestled in the bush-lined suburb of Tawa, just two train stopes from the City.
Internet services are delivered to each dwelling over a Qnet NZ imbedded GPON system delivering high speed unlimited broadband over dedicated point to point fibre optic cables to each dwelling.
